Help with treatent of multiple items within a field

I have three questions for the BD gurus here (examples of my problems appear on the attached screenshot):

1). In cases where multiple items exist within a field, is it possible to select each one individually and perform some special action (see $assigned_training variable on left of ‘Script Debug ‘ section - the bottom of the screenshot shows three items in the field that I am referencing)? I would expect that that the 'For each' command would apply but I need to capture each one by itself first.

2). When I step through and debug the code, the results of the variables I set appear as numbers rather than what the value actually is. asokram suggested that my problem resided in the recordset formatting, however, I have made zero progress in correcting this (even after reading and re-reading the user guide… the variables still show as numbers???). This question applies to all three variables – ($employee_name, $assigned_training, and $job_title). If possible, please add a line of script that I need to use as none of my attempts of the demos in the User Guide worked for me.

3). Is it possible to code the program so that the user can 'grab' information from other folders without requiring the program to physically go to these other folders to retrieve the needed information?

Can anyone offer a solution to these three questions?

Tomorrow ends my 30-day evaluation period of Brilliant Database. I would really like to use purchase and use this software but I cannot seem to make much in regards to any forwards strides...

Thanks,
Daryl G
