iProcurement r12 Creating Purchase Order

Is there a difference in creating purchase orders in iProcurement vs EBusiness Suite...or is all tied into the same application?

The last time I used oracle was years ago an older version(I don't remember what version) that was the standard creation of purchase order and I would like to know if iProcurement is the same process as the older versions.
