Hi,

I'm not good in making codes for VBA macro, thus I need your help, or if you have a much better approach in my problem.

I have a list of team member with their shifting schedule for the month. each employee was assign to a designated seat. the idea is to see which seats are occupied for the given shift and date.meaning if somebody has taken his rest day for that specific date I selected, that seat must appear empty.

My idea is count the seats which was tag as "1" for the selected shift and given date. I can do it if i will specify which column only to look at, and it will not work once I change the desired date. please see attached screen shots for ideas..

any help will be much appreciated.. thanks in advance..:)
