Job Title : Production Support DBA

Duration: 6+ months

Location : Bethesda, MD



Experience, expertise and educational requirements:

· Provides highly technical expertise in the use of DBMS.

· Evaluates and recommends available DBMS products to support validated user requirements.

· Defines file organization, indexing methods, and security procedures for specific user applications.

· Assists and/or performs quality assurance functions.

· A minimum of three years of progressive experience in performing database administration.

· At least two of the three years must reflect current technologies and have occurred within the last three calendar years.

· Current technologies include: Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle.

· Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science,

· Information Systems or other related discipline.

· Four (4) additional years of applicable professional technical experience beyond the three (3) years may be substituted for a degree.
