I think this is more of a WAS question, but I hope someone here can answer it.
What we have is:
WAS (WebSphere Application Server) running on AIX - connect to - DB2 z/OS. There is no DB2 LUW in the picture (except for the DB2 Connect license file).
WAS on AIX + DB2 Universal JDBC Driver + DB2 Connect license file -> DB2 z/OS
I know DB2 Universal JDBC Driver can be downloaded from IBM DB2 JDBC Driver Versions - United States . But this is DB2 LUW specific site and the driver version listed there correspond to DB2 LUW release/fixpack level.
I found the following info:
WAS -> WebSphere Application Server Version 7.0
DB2 z/OS -> IBM Information Management Software for z/OS Solutions Information Center
What I'm not clear about is where people who manage WAS should download JDBC driver from? Both links listed under the NOTES section here
IBM DB2 JDBC Driver Versions - United States take me to DB2 LUW specific sites. I told WAS people to get the driver from this site, but I was wondering if they can get it from some other download site that is not LUW specific.
Could some please clarify?
