Encryption of DB2 used by SAP applications

Iam new to the Encryption in DB2 databases which are used by SAP Applications.please clarify my below doubts.

- If we encrypt a Database then what is the impact on SAP application?
- If there is an impact then how to fix it?
- What are all the things we should take care before and after encryption?
- What type of testing required in SAP side?
