We are currently recruiting for one of our healthcare clients in VA in search of an Orion Rhapsody Programmer/Analyst.
This position offers three options but does not require relocation: full-time direct hire by the client, or as a consulting project (estimated 6 months) on a 1099 basis, or as a consulting engagement with hire option that may be exercised at some point during the engagement.

The hiring process:
Niche reviews resumes of interested applicants, and conducts screening interviews
Qualified applicants are submitted by Niche to the client
The client conducts 2 or more phone interviews followed by on-site interviews for successful applicants
A decision or not to hire can be expected within one to two weeks afterwards.
Qualifications and experience required and highly desirable
2-3 years experience with the Orion Rhapsody Integration Engine
Some experience with Epic Bridges highly desirable
Experience in interface specification review, analysis, HL7 2.x interface development, testing, and deployment
Proficient with HL7 or SQL
Advanced knowledge of Unix/Linux or Microsoft Windows commands, and shell or batch scripts
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Office, Project, Visio, SharePoint)
Willingness for occasional travel, and rotating on-call responsibilities beyond normal working hours (8am to 5 pm)
